Puget Sound Salmon Fishing The web workshop — sister site of Kitsap Salmon Fishing

Website creation & management

Websites built on the Sound, looked after like boats — checked, maintained, and ready when you are.

This is the workshop behind a small fleet of working websites. The three live sites below were designed, built, and hosted by the same hands that still manage them day to day — domains, DNS, SSL, email authentication, updates, and all — and a fourth, the biggest build here, is in production now. Start with the work itself; the services that keep it running are further down.

The work

Real sites, real addresses. Three are live right now — go look. The fourth is the biggest build of the bunch and is being finished behind closed doors.

AnthonyFreed.com Live

anthonyfreed.com

The business site for AFTS, an IT services company — and the proof that a small-business site doesn't have to look small. Six pages (Home, Services, About, Dogs, Partners, Contact), a deep burgundy identity carried from the owner's own logo files, and a homepage that puts working tools front and center. Live on Netlify with SSL since October 2026.

Scope
Design, build, hosting, DNS, SSL, ongoing updates
Pages
6 — including a Dogs page for the three Belgian Malinois who front the brand

AFTS Network Tools Live

anthonyfreed.com/tools/

Five working network utilities in one hub — IP lookup, MX record checker, blacklist check, DNS tools, and an email-header analyzer — behind a single pill navigation. The kind of tools an IT tech reaches for daily, built as a free public utility that also shows prospective customers exactly how the work gets done.

Scope
Design, build, live data lookups, maintenance
Tools
IP · MX · Blacklists · DNS · Header analysis

PugetSound.tv Live

pugetsound.tv

A landing page with a long game: the future home of a self-hosted video platform for Puget Sound fishing videos — owned outright, beyond the reach of platform rule changes, demonetization, and strikes. The drop page is live today, holding the domain and the audience while the platform itself gets built.

Scope
Domain, landing page, hosting, roadmap
Status
Live drop page; full video platform in development

Kitsap Salmon Fishing In progress

kitsapsalmonfishing.com

The flagship build — and the reason this sister site exists. A membership site for Puget Sound salmon trolling: detailed trolling maps with marked hot spots and jigging areas, per-spot run sheets, an exact rig list for members, and a weekly fishing report compiled from member sightings. Fifty years of local knowledge, turned into a site that teaches it. Public launch is planned for mid-January 2027, ahead of the season.

Scope
Site build, map presentation, member gating, weekly report pipeline
Status
In production — launching around January 15, 2027

Services

Everything above is offered as a service: the build, and — the part most sites never get — the looking-after. One point of contact, no hand-offs, no tickets disappearing into a queue.

CREATIONWebsite creation

Design & build

Complete websites designed around what the business actually does — business sites, portfolios, landing pages, and content-heavy builds like map and media libraries. Written, structured, and laid out, not templated and abandoned.

Hosting & launch

Deployment on fast static hosting with SSL from day one, a custom domain properly connected, and the site verified live before anyone calls it done.

Useful extras

The things that make a site earn its keep: working tools and calculators, video pages, member-gated content, and contact and signup forms wired to real inboxes.

MANAGEMENTWebsite management

Domains, DNS & email plumbing

The unglamorous layer that breaks sites when it's ignored: domain renewals, DNS records, and email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) set up and verified — the same work that keeps the Kitsap Salmon Fishing mailboxes passing every check.

Updates & content changes

New pages, revised copy, fresh photos and video — sent in plain words, turned around without a project-management portal standing in the way.

Watch & fix

Sites get checked, problems get caught early, and when something breaks it gets fixed by the person who built it — who already knows where everything is.

STEP 1Talk it through

What the site is for, who it's for, and what it has to do. Plain conversation, no jargon quota.

STEP 2Private draft

The site gets built as a working draft you can open, read, and mark up — nothing goes public unseen.

STEP 3Revise together

Your corrections go in, section by section, until it says what you meant it to say.

STEP 4Launch

Domain connected, SSL on, email verified, site live — and checked again after launch, not just before.

STEP 5Looked after

Updates, monitoring, and fixes as an ongoing arrangement, so the site stays as good as the day it launched.

Start a project

Have a site to build, or one that needs looking after?

Say what you're working on — a new site, a rebuild, or an existing site that needs a steady hand. A few honest sentences beat a polished brief; the details get worked out in conversation.

Every project starts as a private draft, reviewed and approved by you before anything goes live. That's how every site in the portfolio above was built.
